Suggestions for engaging children in learning amid COVID-19 pandemic.

The prevailing situation of covid-19 pandemic has disturbed everyone's business badly. Even the school children are forced to sacrifice their regular schooling. They are kept away from their scholastic activities. Parents are also quite confused and much worried about their lads' education. Teachers are eagerly waiting for schools to reopen.
During this unsupportive situation efforts are to be made such that somehow the process is let initiated and continued. Following alternative measures can be taken to reinitiate the academics of the children :
1) Colony as a classroom : Teachers of a school set colonies in the village as per the number of students available in that particular colony. Then every teacher should engage the classes in different colonies daily.
2) For online classes or recoded video of a lesson should be much simplified to enable the children follow it easily.
3) Grouping the learners in a way that every group is good enough to complete the given learning task much efficiently.
4) Parents are a big help to teachers at this situation. Under teacher's guidance parents can monitor their children's learning activities at home.
5) Ex students as mentors: Teacher can nominate few ex students as volunteers to help school children with their homeworks and other study related issues.
6) SDMC has an important role to play: Chairman and members of SDMC can also monitor academic activities of the children.
So above are the few suggestions which considered for the concern.
